Bookings

All bookings made through this site are confirmed, subject to any conditions highlighted during the booking process. At the completion of the booking process, you will be presented with a printable booking receipt, with one or more booking confirmation numbers. These numbers should be retained by you and quoted in any future communication with your destination hotel(s). Changes to bookings cannot be made through the website and must be made directly with your destination hotel(s) provided your permitted dates. Changes to bookings cannot be guaranteed and are subject to company policy and availability.

Payments

All payments made on this website must be made with debit cards or credit cards

Flexible rates comprise a deposit of one night of the cost of your entire booking. The deposit amount is charged to your card immediately and the remaining amount will be paid at check-in. For deposit refund eligibility, refer to the Terms and Conditions received at the time of your booking.

For Non Refundable bookings, the total amount will be charged to your card immediately and no refunds will be issued in case of cancellations or no shows.

Cancellations

Bookings made on this website can only be canceled by contacting the destination hotel directly.

Flexible Bookings made on this website can be canceled or modified by contacting the destination hotel directly 72 hours before your arrival date only. For cancellations received outside of the specified timescales within the Terms and Conditions received when making a booking or if you fail to arrive for your booking, the complete amount will be charged. All cancellation charges are made from the destination hotel to the same card number provided for your booking.

For Non-Refundable Bookings, cancellations at any time and no-shows will be charged 100% of the booking amount.

Check-in

You must check-in at your destination hotel(s) before 23:59 (11:59 pm) local time. Upon failure to do so, you must contact the hotel(s) directly before 23:59 (11:59 pm) local time to confirm a later arrival time. If you do not arrive at the hotel, your booking will be marked as a no-show.

An additional $3 USD Environmental Fee per guest per night will be required at check-in.

Mayan Monkey APP Cashless

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of the Mayan Monkey APP Cashless service. By using our cashless system, you agree to comply with the following terms:


Cashback Incentive

Depending on the amount of funds added to your wallet, a 10% cashback will be added.

Fund Validity

The funds in your account will remain valid for a period of one year, calculated from the date of the last fund addition to your wallet.

Usability in Designated Locations

The cashless money stored in your wallet is valid for use exclusively at Mayan Monkey hotels in any of our locations within our designated bar and restaurants.

Transaction Capabilities

Your wallet funds can be utilized for purchasing food, beverages, and for adding tips to the service.

No Refund Policy

Following the purchase of funds, no refunds will be issued under any circumstances. It is advisable to add an amount reflective of your anticipated usage.

Currency Consideration

Prices are denominated in USD but will be converted to your national currency at the prevailing exchange rate at the time of fund addition. Please take this into account prior to purchasing.

The Monkey Membership

Terms and Conditions for The Monkey Membership


The use of the monkey membership is for one person only presenting your passport at front desk and can’t be transferred to anyone else.


Overview

The Monkey Membership is an exclusive travel membership offering up to 30 and 15 consecutive days of stay with a up to 50% discount on our flat rate at Mayan Monkey Hotel locations in Cancun, Tulum, and Los Cabos.

Membership Features and Benefits

- Eligibility: Available to travelers worldwide, aged 18 and older. Children are not allowed.
- Stay: Up to 30 and 15 consecutive days in shared dormitories at all our locations.
- Discount: Up to 50% off the flat rate for your stay.
- Flexibility: Purchase now and travel anytime. Your 30 or 15 day period starts from your first booking.

Usage Rights and Restrictions

- Duration: Membership is valid for 30 or 15 consecutive days starting from the date of the first booking.
- Non-refundable: Unused days cannot be refunded or transferred to a different period.
- Non-transferable: Membership is unique to the purchaser and requires matching identification or passport upon check-in.
- Accommodation: Valid only for shared dormitories, not applicable for private rooms.

Booking Examples

1. 10 nights in Cancun, followed by another 10 nights in Cancun, and then 10 more nights in Cancun.
2. 20 nights in Los Cabos, followed by 5 nights in Cancun and 5 nights in Tulum.

Pricing and Payment

- Membership Cost: $99 USD 30 day membership & $69 USD 15 day membership.
- No Recurring Fees: No additional fees upon arrival. The price includes taxes and environmental fees.
- Payment Method: Accepted via credit card only.
- Payment Disputes: Please contact our customer service for assistance with any payment issues.

Renewal and Cancellation Policy

- Non-renewable: Membership does not automatically renew.
- Cancellation: No cancellations or refunds are available once the membership is purchased.
- End of Membership: Membership automatically concludes after the 30 or 15 day stay period is completed.

Restrictions on Premium Days

- During Premium Days, reservations will not be allowed under any membership category. This includes both room bookings and other services subject to availability.
- "Premium Days" are those high-demand or peak season days determined by Mayan Monkey. These days may include, but are not limited to, holiday periods, special events, or long weekends. Premium Days may vary by season and will be updated periodically.
- The schedule for these days may be adjusted based on demand or any other relevant circumstances.

General

Violating these terms may result in the termination of your membership without a refund. We reserve the right to change these terms at any time without prior notice. Your continued use of The Monkey Membership after any changes signifies your acceptance of the new terms.

Limitation of Liability

Mayan Monkey will not be liable for:

Changes in itinerary, cancellations, delays, or any alterations made by the tour provider. Accidents, injuries, losses, or damages occurring during the tour. The quality and fulfillment of the service offered by the tour provider.
