DE C.V. with address at: Boulevard Kukulcán, Km 9.5 Zona Hotelera, 77500, Cancun, Quintana Roo which is commercially known as (Mayan Monkey Hostel & Bar).
1. Which information do we collect?
The Hostel collects personal data of its Owners through various formats, which may include: (i) Personal data, such as your name, date of birth, home address, work address, telephone numbers, email (e-mail), and (ii), number (s) of credit card (s) for the purpose of charging the lodging service (hereinafter, collectively, the "Personal Data").
2. What do we use your information for?
The Personal Data we collect is only for the following purposes:
Primary Purpose: (a) Identification purposes; (b) Update, where appropriate, in the Hostel databases as a guest, which will include your history as a customer, for statistical purposes only and to improve the service provided by the Hostel; (c) Evaluation as a potential client; (d) Provide the services and products required by the client in a timely and correct manner, such as reservations, sale of tours, sale of transportation service and / or sale of tickets for local nightclubs.
Secondary Purpose: (a) Distribution of Hostel advertising via email; (b) Inform about changes, rewards and / or promotions from the Hostel; (c) Evaluate the quality of the services provided by the Hostel, (d) Stay in contact in with the customer, via WhatsApp for the aforementioned purposes.
Any person entering the Hostel facilities may be videotaped or photographed by closed circuit security cameras. The images captured by the cameras of the CCTV system located in the Hostel will be used for surveillance and security purposes of Holder, of the Hostels guests and its facilities, as well as monitoring and verifying and minimizing in real time any hazardous condition.
We collect and handle your Personal Data with adherence to the principles of legality, quality, consent, information, purpose, loyalty, proportionality and responsibility established by the Law.
The Personal Data that you provide to the Hostel may be compiled and stored in a database exclusively owned and designated by the Hostel.
3. Which security and control measures do we use to protect your Personal Data?
The Hostel has implemented administrative, technical and physical security measures to protect your Personal Data against damage, loss, alteration, destruction, use, access or unauthorized treatment, which we also demand are complied with by the service providers we hire, including providers of outsourced services and the Hostel's affiliates.
4. Updates to the Privacy Notice.
The Hostel reserves the right to update this Privacy Notice to reflect changes in its information practices at any time. In case there is any change in this Privacy Notice, it is the responsibility of the Holder to review the content and its modifications through the website www.mayanmonkey.com or by email request to info@mayanmonkey.com
5. ARCO rights
You have the right to know which of your Personal Information is stored by us, what we use it for and the terms of its use (Access). Likewise, it is your right to request the correction of any outdated or incorrect personal data when applicable (Rectification); for us to delete it from our records or data bases whenever you consider that it is not being used according to the principles, duties and obligations required under the legislation (Cancelation); as well as opposing to the use of your Personal Information for specific purposes (Opposition). These rights are known as ARCO.
To exercise any of the ARCO Rights you may send an email request to info@mayanmonkey.com including the following information:
- The name of the holder and his address or any other means to receive notifications;
- Documents that certify the identity of the holder, and where appropriate, the personality and identity of his representative;
- The clear and precise description of the personal data with respect to which one seeks to exercise any of the ARCO rights, unless it is the right of access;
- The description of the ARCO right that is intended to be exercised, or the holder's requests;
- Any other element or document that helps trace the personal data, if applicable;
In case of requesting to exercise the rectification, you must also indicate the modifications to be made and provide the necessary official documentation to support your request. To exercise the right of cancelation you must express the causes that motivate the elimination. And to exercise the right of opposition you must state the reasons that justify the end of use of personal data and the damage or harm caused, or, if the opposition is partial, it must indicate the specific purposes you do not agree with, provided it is not a mandatory requirement.
